United Way reaches its donation goals
St. Francis Employees give generously to United Way of Richland-Wilkin
Committee members from the Healthcare and Wellness Foundation Employee Giving Campaign presented the United Way of Richland-Wilkin a gift in the amount of $8,800 for their 2013 campaign. Colette Barton, United Way Director accepted the gift on April 3, 2013.
The Employee Giving Campaign was a huge success with over $33,000.00 raised for various programs to assist in further developing services at St. Francis and for our communities.” said Juli Mauch, Executive Director of the Healthcare and Wellness Foundation. “This is just another example of how, the staff at St. Francis continue to show their compassion, one of our core values at St. Francis.”
“This is a significant gift for the United Way and we couldn’t be more pleased,” said Colette Barton, United Way Director. “This will help make an impact in our mission.”
The Healthcare and Wellness Foundation collaborates with the Richland-Wilkin United Way in this project.

Spring Fling supports Food Backpack Project
The Spring Fling Home-based Vendor Shopping event held on Saturday, April 13th was a huge success for the Food Backpack Project. Food items were collected from the attendees to help feed hungry kids on the weekends with a bag of food put right into their backpack. If you are interested in helping with this project please contact the United Way office, 701 642-1250. Thank you to all those who helped on Saturday 😆
